Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing clinicians to balance their professional and personal lives effectively. However, there will be regular opportunities for in-office collaboration within our outpatient facility located in Santa Ana, California. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to tailor individualized treatment plans that effectively address trauma resulting from domestic violence.

• Offer individual and group therapy sessions for adolescents and adults, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate healing.

• Implement Play Therapy strategies for younger clients to engage them effectively in their care.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential treatment records in compliance with ethical and legal standards while also managing a caseload aligned with clinical guidelines and client needs.

• Participate actively in weekly clinical supervision meetings to discuss cases, enhance therapeutic practices, and engage in continuous professional growth.

• Develop community resource referrals and assist clients to navigate services, ensuring comprehensive support throughout their healing process.

• Provide crisis intervention services and emotional support during high-stress situations to promote client safety and well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to support individuals—teenagers and adults—who are grappling with the effects of domestic violence. You will interact closely with clients seeking healing from past traumas and developing coping strategies for their current situations. Additionally, your work may involve engaging with families, particularly in recognizing and modifying harmful intergenerational patterns.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Mental Health, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• An active LPCC license in California is a must to ensure compliance with state regulatory standards.

• Proven experience with crisis intervention and individual therapy, especially with populations affected by family violence is essential.

• Availability to work late afternoons and evenings, with the expectation of at least two late shifts per week (3 PM to 8 PM).

• A valid driver’s license is needed as the position may involve travel to community resources and service locations.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience or certification in Play Therapy techniques is highly desirable and will enhance service delivery to younger clients.

• Flexibility to work some weekends will be a distinct advantage in accommodating client schedules.

• Previous experience in group facilitation or community outreach is a plus for expanding service access.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Compensation for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to USD 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive salary, we offer a signing bonus to incentivize qualified candidates.
