This role is primarily conducted in a telehealth setting, allowing for flexibility and the ability to reach clients from the comfort of their homes. As part of our telehealth team, you will have access to our excellent support staff, who assist with credentialing services, intake scheduling, billing, and administrative tasks, allowing you to focus on your clinical work.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Morton Comprehensive Health, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of clients, establishing rapport, and fostering positive therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conducting regular meetings with clients to assess their progress, stability, and needs, preparing for future appointments, and facilitating appropriate discharge when necessary.
\n
• Developing, implementing, and overseeing person-centered treatment plans, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure the highest quality of care.
\n
• Maintaining thorough documentation and progress notes for each client, demonstrating effective tracking of treatment outcomes and client engagement.
\n
• Performing intake assessments to determine client needs, provide appropriate recommendations, and facilitate a smooth entry into treatment.
\n
• Conducting individual therapy sessions weekly to support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.
\n
• Participating in individual supervision sessions to foster professional growth and development.
\n
• Collaborating with other healthcare providers to create a cohesive treatment plan that may include referral to additional services as needed.

• Maintaining a growth mindset, focused on continuous learning and improvement within your clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on youth and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. You will play a crucial role in guiding these clients through their mental health journey using equitable, evidence-based techniques that foster resilience and personal empowerment.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
\n
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania.
\n
• A demonstrated ability to meet requirements for internal credentialing in relevant clinical settings.

• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations, providing direct care and support.

• Experience with assessment, diagnosis, individual therapy, and group therapy.
\n
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in electronic health record systems and basic computer functions.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
