This full-time position offers the flexibility to provide a mix of remote telehealth services and occasional in-person sessions based in Irving, Texas. Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, providing you the opportunity to work from home while still being part of a supportive healthcare community. Our facility operates as a Community Health Clinic, open seven days a week from 7 am to 10 pm, ensuring flexibility in scheduling for both staff and clients. There is no on-call requirement, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Oasis Mental Clinic, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand clients’ history and identify tailored treatment approaches.
\n
• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based interventions like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in processing their trauma, developing effective coping strategies, and enhancing their healing experiences.
\n
• Collaborating with a team of psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to deliver integrated, holistic care to clients.
\n
• Providing crisis intervention services during critical situations related to clients’ trauma histories.
\n
• Educating clients and their families on understanding trauma responses and available coping mechanisms.
\n
• Maintaining accurate, confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

• Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed care methodologies.

You will work with a diverse patient population, addressing a variety of mental health concerns primarily revolving around trauma and its effects. Our clients include individuals and couples seeking healing from traumatic experiences, thereby requiring sensitivity, empathy, and a strong understanding of trauma-related disorders.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Texas.

• Proficient knowledge of trauma-related disorders and the latest trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, accompanied by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.
