Work Environment\n

This role operates within a remote work setting, with the flexibility to conduct sessions via telehealth or in our community health clinic located in Plano, Texas. We prioritize a healthy work-life balance, offering operational hours from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week, designed to accommodate both clinician and client schedules. Our support team assists with client scheduling and administrative tasks, ensuring that LPCs can focus primarily on patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient’s unique trauma history, which informs the development of tailored treatment strategies.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and resilience-building, collaborating with patients to set achievable therapy goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in individual and group therapy formats.

• Provide crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that patients receive immediate and appropriate support.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to foster an understanding of their mental health journeys.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards to ensure patient safety and care continuity.

• Participate actively in professional development activities, team meetings, and case consultations that focus on best practices in trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about the latest advancements and research in trauma therapy, incorporating new knowledge into practice.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, new team members will receive a sign-on bonus as part of their total compensation package. We provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
