This role offers the opportunity to engage in both telehealth and face-to-face therapeutic sessions, primarily supporting trauma-affected clients. This full-time position allows for remote work, with the flexibility to conduct sessions from the comfort of your home, while also offering the option for in-office sessions at our outpatient facility. Our team operates from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week, facilitating a balance between professional commitments and personal life. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify clients' trauma histories and evaluate their mental health needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and resilience, employing evidence-based modalities.

• Utilize therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to foster healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that assist clients in processing traumatic experiences and developing effective coping strategies.
\n
• Coordinate care with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client wellness.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services and support during trauma-related emergencies to assist clients in urgent need.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available support resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, professional development sessions, and team meetings focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Keep informed about the latest research developments and best practice approaches in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals and families navigating the complex impacts of trauma. Our clientele is diverse, representing a range of ages, backgrounds, and experiences. The center emphasizes accessibility, which allows us to engage a motivated and varied patient population. We aim to foster healing through tailored interventions and a supportive therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid LPC licensure in the state of Tennessee is mandatory.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methods.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, exhibiting a compassionate, non-judgmental attitude towards clients.

• The ability to remain composed in high-stress situations and effectively manage crises.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling is preferred, especially in trauma-informed therapy.

• Demonstrated experience in providing trauma-focused therapies and interventions, particularly EMDR and TF-CBT.

• A willingness to see couples and provide relationship counseling, with training provided as needed.
\n
• A commitment to timely completion of clinical documentation, with a goal of submitting notes within 24 hours.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer guaranteed pay along with annual increases and bonus opportunities. Our benefits package includes:
