Compensation & Details Salary: $18 per hour with commissions/bonus. 8-week paid training hourly rate + commissions/bonus. Job Type: Full-Time Location: Riverside Cemetery, Montgomery, IL. Responsibilities Inside sales role with leads provided via walk-in traffic & inbound calls. Assist families with funeral selections and attend services. Maintain honesty, integrity, and quality at all times. Top Family Service Counselors earn six-figure incomes. Job Duties Establish a professional relationship with client families to ensure all needs are met. Represent the company in a professional and caring manner. Provide tours and guide families that visit the cemetery locations. Attend services and visitations for client families to develop relationships, ensure excellent service, and potential referrals. Complete required paperwork, ensure proper interment verification process, and conduct blind checks, ensuring compliance with all relevant state and industry regulations and company policies. Develop new prospects and community-based contacts. Make presentations at the business location, client family homes, and public community events highlighting merchandise, services, and pre-need arranging benefits. Maintain positive and proactive communication and cooperation with all funeral homes, departments, and team members to ensure a smooth service process for families. Actively participate in all required location and company training initiatives. Report all progress to the Sales Manager (or Unit Leader) as directed. Schedule and conduct aftercare appointments to ensure client family satisfaction and obtain referrals. Identify and remedy all hazards at the location and on grounds. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or college degree preferred. Proven track record in inside sales and outside sales production strongly preferred. May require possession (or ability to obtain) of an insurance license as required by applicable law.
