Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Unarmed Train Station Patrol in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe activity across the location, reporting unusual conditions, policy violations, and/or maintenance-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Support daily operations at a government location by following post orders, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting with security-related requests consistent with site expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Pepper spray certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
