Senior Marketing Director

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Marketing Director based in United States.

As Senior Marketing Director, you will own and evolve the marketing function for a growing B2B technology services organization. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you'll shape marketing strategy, demand generation, brand positioning, thought leadership, and measurable pipeline growth. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll combine strategic direction with direct execution and build the systems needed to demonstrate marketing's contribution to revenue. You'll work closely with Sales, Product, Delivery, and executive leadership to align go-to-market priorities and strengthen competitive differentiation. The role also offers an opportunity to embed AI across marketing workflows, content production, analytics, and campaign optimization. You'll lead a high-performing team while creating a data-driven, accountable, and growth-focused marketing organization.

Accountabilities:

• Define and own the comprehensive marketing strategy, operating plan, budget, and priorities in alignment with pipeline and revenue objectives.
• Lead, develop, and grow a high-performing marketing team through clear goals, accountability structures, coaching, and career development.
• Partner with the CRO, CEO, and executive leadership on go-to-market strategy, positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, and growth priorities.
• Build and scale a data-driven demand generation engine that consistently produces qualified pipeline for the sales organization.
• Develop and execute integrated campaigns across digital, content, events, social media, and partner channels, managing the full funnel from awareness through sales handoff.
• Manage Salesforce, Pardot, LinkedIn, and related marketing technologies to support lead routing, campaign attribution, nurturing, reporting, and pipeline visibility.
• Establish a content-first strategy and oversee the development of white papers, case studies, blogs, webinars, executive content, and video assets.
• Develop executive thought leadership programs that strengthen industry visibility and amplify leadership voices across relevant channels.
• Lead an AI-first marketing approach by evaluating and deploying AI tools, agents, and automation for personalization, lead scoring, content creation, and campaign optimization.
• Establish responsible AI best practices and playbooks across the marketing function.
• Define marketing KPIs and reporting frameworks that connect campaigns and investments to pipeline, revenue, and brand outcomes.
• Build dashboards and reporting cadences to monitor funnel health, campaign performance, channel effectiveness, and marketing ROI.
• Own brand identity, messaging, digital presence, website strategy, SEO/SEM, and social media, with particular expertise in LinkedIn.
• Oversee employer brand and Glassdoor presence in partnership with HR and leadership.
• Develop and execute conference, trade show, sponsorship, and event strategies, including budgets, vendor management, executive participation, and post-event ROI analysis.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen marketing across higher education, technology services, and cybersecurity markets.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of progressive B2B technology services marketing experience, ideally within SaaS-aligned technology services, IT consulting, managed services, or closely related environments.
• Experience leading a marketing function or serving as a strong second-in-command within an organization of 200+ employees.
• Hands-on expertise with Salesforce, Pardot, LinkedIn marketing tools, integrations, lead routing, campaign attribution, and reporting.
• Proven ability to build integrated marketing programs that generate measurable, data-backed pipeline results.
• Strong experience developing KPI frameworks that connect marketing activity to revenue and business outcomes.
• Deep content marketing and thought leadership experience, including editorial strategy, content calendars, and executive communications.
• Sophisticated understanding of LinkedIn marketing across organic content, paid campaigns, employee advocacy, and executive profile development.
• Experience with employer branding platforms such as Glassdoor and broader digital brand management.
• Demonstrated experience managing, mentoring, and developing marketing teams while building a strong culture of accountability and collaboration.
• Ability to work independently, set strategic direction, make decisions, and drive execution without extensive oversight.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership.
• Experience owning conference and event strategies, including budgets, vendors, sponsorships, and ROI measurement.
• Willingness to combine strategic leadership with hands-on execution and direct ownership of marketing initiatives.
• Experience in higher education services and/or cybersecurity services marketing is a plus.
