Production Setup Mechanic

Job Title: USA_Repair Mechanic
Location: Walpole,Massachusetts2032
Duration: 12+ Months (Contract/Temp with the possibility of extension)
• Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Schedule: 5 days per week
• Pay Rate: $27.50/hour (non-negotiable)

Description:

As a Production Set-up Mechanic – 2nd shift, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety or routine manufacturing functions in one or more of the following areas:

• Setting up, calibrating and repairing high volume filling and packaging machinery.
• Assisting in resolving routine manufacturing equipment related problems affecting daily operations.
• Recording maintenance activities in Cal PM software application.
• Communicating line performance at daily huddles.

Required education, skills and experience to have success in this role:

• HS diploma or GED equivalent
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Good understanding of mechanical, pneumatic fluidic and basic electronic control systems
• Ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities
• Ability to follow and adhere to written work instructions
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be comfortable working autonomously or in small groups

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience include:

• Basic knowledge of machine shop equipment
• Experience with computers, including office applications
• 1-3 years’ experience setting up, maintaining and repairing high volume filling and packaging machiner
