Production Associate #26-185 Franklin, Indiana, United States Requisition Number 26-185 Company Essex Solutions USA LLC Job Description Operates assigned enameling lines/ovens in a safe and efficient manner; to achieve and maintain high quality magnet wire manufacturing operations consistent with the control plan as well as with the plant and division goals. Assist in training new associates. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Night shift position working 12 hour shifts on a staggered schedule, 8pm-8am. Responsible for proper set up and operation of assigned enamel lines. Maintain a safe workplace by anticipating, recognizing, and reporting any potential workplace hazards, attending required safety training, and adhering to all safety rules and regulations. Comply with environmental rules and standards and attend required training. Ensure quality of the finished product; identify problems in the enameling process and complete corrective action. Read, understand, and follow all instructions including manufacturing instructions, work instructions and set up sheets. Monitor machine processes and make appropriate and timely adjustments. Perform all team operations including start ups, changeovers, and welds. Monitor all aspects of the payoff area to ensure a continuous supply of high-quality bare wire to the enameling lines. Monitor all aspects of the take-up area to ensure all requirements are met and the reels are promptly and properly stripped and packed, including understanding and adhering to proper package code, size, and weight including minimums and maximums. Comply with all environmental policies, regulations, and requirements; maintain housekeeping. Complete forms, checklists, audits, and other paperwork as required. Other duties as assigned.
