About the Role

The Material Coordinator is responsible for working as a member of the Materials Management team to ensure the needs for supplies and equipment in the Hospitals are met.

POSITION’S ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accurately inventories, orders, receives, picks, and distributes materials to meet demands.
• Process supplies and equipment by cleaning packaging, sterilizing, and storing as assigned in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• While performing the essential functions of this position, the Material Coordinator will understand and strive to keep the mission, vision, and values of the company, and be committed to the improvement and best interests of the facility and the service provided by the relevant department.
• All other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to work under pressure or stress.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form.
• Ability to establish priorities among the essential functions of the job and coordinate these functions with others.
• Ability to speak, read, and write the English language.
