Base pay range $65,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr Flashpass is a HR & EdTech company with a big mission - to solve AI-induced unemployment in America, which is set to impact 25% - 40% of the labor force in the next five years ( Through the Flashpass platform, governments pay for users who lose their jobs to AI to be reskilled and placed at employers. Users can earn certificates in anything from cybersecurity to well plugging and electrical engineering. This role sells directly to HR teams. You’ll be engaging with HR leaders because they’re the ones driving the decisions around workforce planning. With AI transforming the workplace, HR leaders face the challenge of either reskilling their teams to work alongside AI or making difficult layoffs. We’re looking for candidates who have a proven track record of success selling to HR. Relevant experience could include staffing, payroll & benefits, insurance, or HRIS platforms. Your existing connections and experience will make it easier for you to close deals and build momentum with HR leaders. The main role will be selling our AI education and tech courses, which are free for businesses through a government contract we won. Each course costs $2000 per employee where you will be earning a 12.5% uncapped commission. Because these courses are reimbursed through the Ohio TechCred grant program, they are effectively free for any Ohio based company with W-2 employees, making the sales process straightforward and closing just a few small businesses can surpass monthly targets, as each business typically enrolls 20–50 employees. You’ll be joining at an ideal time: Flashpass has grown to $4M in revenue in just the last six months, has partnered with NVIDIA & Khan Academy, and recently raised a seed round backed by top investors like General Catalyst and OpenAI Fund to expand outside of Ohio. Responsibilities Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities with Ohio-based companies eligible for TechCred reimbursement. Build and maintain strong relationships with HR leaders, training managers, and business owners. Conduct outreach campaigns via phone, email, and meetings to promote Flashpass’s AI education and tech courses. Present and explain the value of Flashpass programs, emphasizing ease of implementation and full reimbursement through the TechCred program. Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure and post sale follow up. Track and report on pipeline activity, conversion rates, and revenue performance. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction. Stay informed about industry trends, government workforce grants, and competitive offerings. Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets with uncapped commission potential. Minimum of 6 months of experience in sales or business development, ideally in B2B, recruiting, or staffing industries, with exposure to training-related services and experience engaging with HR managers (preferred but not required). Based in Columbus, Ohio with the ability to work in a hybrid office environment and willing to travel to meet clients within the borders of Ohio.
