The individual in this role will greet and engage customers in our showroom, over the phone and on our lot. Assessing their needs, and guiding them through the selection of new and used vehicles. Daily responsibilities include presenting vehicle features and benefits, conducting test drives, explaining pricing and financing options, and preparing sales and lease documentation. The role also involves following up with fresh prospects and staying connected with existing customers to build long-term relationships and repeat business. This position requires collaboration with sales, finance, and service teams to ensure a smooth and positive customer experience from initial contact through post-sale support.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess basic skills in Automotive Sales with an understanding of and the desire to continue learning about vehicle features, trim levels, and financing options as the industry evolves.
• Candidates should possess skills in Sales Consulting, including needs analysis, product presentation, and closing techniques.
• Candidates should possess skills in Customer Service to provide courteous, timely, and accurate information throughout the sales process.
• Candidates should possess skills in Customer Satisfaction and Customer Retention, with a focus on relationship-building and follow-up communication.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include strong verbal and written communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and comfort working with CRM systems (DealerSocket).
• Ability to work days, evenings and Saturdays.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Meet or exceed sales targets.
• Prior automotive sales experience is preferred but not required; a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.

Requirements

• Proven experience in automotive industry sales or retail sales with a focus on passenger cars or high-end vehicles
• Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual skills are a plus)
• Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets within a dealership or B2B (business-to-business) environment
• Knowledge of automotive financing options, inventory management, and CRM software supported by technical systems proficiency
• Exceptional customer relationship building skills with a focus on client communication and public speaking capabilities
• Outbound sales experience including cold calling, marketing outreach, and deal closing techniques
• Organizational skills to manage a busy sales pipeline effectively while maintaining accurate records of all client interactions
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while demonstrating strong math skills for deal calculations
