Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' mental and emotional health, ensuring a thorough understanding of their unique circumstances and challenges.

• Maintain detailed and accurate client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and case histories, while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams when needed, providing holistic care and referring clients to additional support services.

• Provide crisis intervention and support for clients in acute distress, ensuring immediate assistance and follow-up care are available.

• Stay informed on the latest developments in marriage and family therapy and participate in ongoing training to enhance your skills.

• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information and adhere to all legal and ethical guidelines governing therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT with Greenwood Consultant Services, you will engage with a varied client population that includes teenagers, adults, and couples, each facing unique challenges related to mental health. Your work will be instrumental in providing therapy that addresses not only individual mental well-being but also family dynamics and relationship constructs. You will help clients navigate issues such as trauma, relationship conflicts, parenting challenges, anxiety, and depression.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field is required.

• An active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the appropriate state board is mandatory.
