Details Work across two IMC units: Acute Med/Progressive Care (D6/5) and Thoracic (B4/3) Cardiac, oncology, and telemetry/PCU/DOU/stepdown patient population Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00pm-7:30am, Monday through Friday Every other weekend required with some holiday coverage Uses Epic charting system Floating required as needed Requirements Active WI RN license or compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA only) Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in telemetry/oncology/cardiac/PCU/DOU/IMC/stepdown specialty Trauma Level II experience required, Trauma Level I experience preferred Epic EMR experience required, ideally within the past 12 months Vent and transplant experience required Skills in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and use of Rapid Response/Code teams Experience with central/arterial/PICC line management, blood product administration, and IV therapy Respiratory care skills including BiPAP/CPAP, chest tube management, and ABG interpretation Must pass a telemetry exam with strict passing criteria prior to starting Additional Information Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity cardiac and thoracic telemetry environment Must reside within 50 miles of the facility; local candidates not accepted References are not required for consideration Located at a Magnet-designated academic teaching hospital ranked as Wisconsin's 1 hospital American Traveler Job ID P-743640.
