Job Description UHY Resource Solutions is seeking an Accountant who is detail-oriented and experienced to manage financial records, maintain accurate reporting, and support day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with QuickBooks and hold an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or be CPA-eligible. This role requires excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key focus areas Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and balance sheet accounts Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Prepare and file sales tax, payroll tax, and other regulatory reports Support external audits and tax preparation processes Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to management Improve accounting procedures and internal controls for greater efficiency Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred 10+ years of accounting experience Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools Strong understanding of GAAP and financial compliance requirements Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Who We Are UHY is one of the nation’s largest professional services firms providing audit, tax, consulting and advisory services to clients primarily in the dynamic middle market.
