Medical Assistant Certified - ONC

Sea Mar Community Health Centers, founded in 1978, is a federally qualified health center serving diverse communities in Washington State. Sea Mar is also a mandatory COVID‑19 and flu vaccine organization. Position Overview Medical Assistant – Certified (MA‑C) ON‑CALL. The MA‑C supports providers in delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered primary care. This role serves as a key member of the care team, assisting with patient intake, clinical quality measures, documentation, referrals, and procedures to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent care. Key Duties Room patients, obtain histories and vital signs Track and document clinical quality measures in the EHR Assist providers with exams, procedures, and charting Administer medications and immunizations per protocol Coordinate labs, referrals, and specialty care Provide excellent customer service using the AIDET model Qualifications Graduate of an approved MA program Current MA‑C license (or MA‑Interim with certification within 90 days) BLS/CPR required (or within 90 days) Ambulatory care experience preferred Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred Fast‑paced outpatient setting; may require travel to other clinic locations What We Offer Starting wage: $24.09 per hour Work schedule: ON‑CALL hourly plan, $24.09 USD hourly Competitive benefits package for full‑time employees (30 hours or more): medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, life insurance, long‑term disability, EAP, paid time off starting at 24 days per year + 10 paid holidays, 401(k) / retirement options Opportunity for advancement in a culturally diverse environment Equal Opportunity Sea Mar is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr 002 Sea Mar Community Health Center
