CNC Lathe Machinist

We are currently hiring a lathe set up machinist. The ideal candidate is someone who is looking to learn and expand their experience. Job Responsibilities Under supervision, set-up and operate one or more CNC Lathes. Operate secondary equipment and perform any other functions within the department that may be necessary. Using defined processes and prescribed operation sequences, operate one or more CNC machines to close tolerance to achieve quality specifications. Producing moderate to moderately complex components. This could include adjustments to tooling, machines, and/or part programs. During the machining cycle, perform your own part inspection using a broad range of precision inspection equipment. Simultaneous to CNC machining operation, perform a variety of secondary operations as required. Maintain the highest degree of safety always. Other duties as assigned Requirements Some machine shop experience Vocational trade’s high school diploma or equivalent, formal trades apprenticeship preferred. Personal computer knowledge desired.
