Position Summary

The HR & Finance Administrator provides essential support across human resources and financial operations. This part-time role is responsible for maintaining employee records, administering payroll and benefits, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting accounts receivable and payable functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

What You'll Do

HR:

• Process payroll and maintain accurate employee records, timekeeping, and PTO balances
• Administer employee benefits (health, dental, vision, 401(k)) and serve as the go-to contact for benefits questions
• Manage onboarding/offboarding, I-9 compliance, and employee files
• Support performance review cycles and maintain compliance with employment law (FLSA, FMLA, ACA, COBRA)
• Assist with ISO audit prep and internal HR communications

Finance:

• Process AR payments, monitor aging reports, and follow up on past-due accounts
• Review and process vendor invoices, prepare payment runs, and reconcile vendor statements
• Support month-end/year-end closing and financial reporting.

What We're Looking For : Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 2–3+ years of experience in HR administration, payroll, or office management
• AR/AP experience a plus
• Experience with payroll software (e.g. Paychex) and HRIS/CRM platforms preferred
• Strong organizational skills, discretion with confidential information, and excellent communication skills
• PHR/SHRM-CP certification a plus

•       Hourly rate or salary commensurate with experience: $24-28/hour Part-time.
