What's a typical day as an HR Specialist - Payroll?
You will:
  • Provide support to multiple functional areas of Human Resources, including recruiting, labor relations, compensation, benefits, payroll, and organizational development.
  • Process and coordinate HR-related paperwork, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Gather, maintain, and distribute employee information and communicate updates as needed.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide guidance regarding workforce management, benefits, payroll, and related HR processes to employees, former employees, managers, and HR partners.
  • Administer the company's employee benefit plans and support end-to-end payroll processing.
  • Provide functional support for various HR systems and company policies.
  • Prepare reports on HR metrics, transactions, and compliance as requested.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
  • Required: High school diploma, plus experience in an HR-related field
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in an applicable field
  • Experience in HR/Payroll/Benefits
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HR/Payroll/Benefits policy and processes
  • Customer service and call center experience (preferred); experience in a centralized HR Shared Service environment is a plus
  • Experience using PeopleSoft, Workday, or other HRIS platforms
  • Strong professional verbal and written communication skills, with an empathetic and helpful demeanor
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Basic analytical, system navigation, and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills
