Role Description The Inside Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Omaha, NE, responsible for managing customer relationships and supporting sales growth. Day-to-day tasks include handling inbound inquiries, preparing quotes, processing orders, and following up with customers to ensure timely delivery and satisfaction. The role involves identifying customer needs, recommending appropriate metal products and processing services, and coordinating with operations and logistics to meet order requirements. The Inside Sales Representative will maintain and grow assigned accounts, assist with lead generation and prospecting, and update CRM or internal systems with accurate customer and order information. This position requires consistent collaboration with team members, proactive communication with customers, and adherence to company policies and safety practices. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Inside Sales skills, including comfort with phone- and email-based selling and follow-up. Candidates should possess Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with the ability to build rapport and respond promptly to customer needs. Candidates should possess Lead Generation skills, including identifying new opportunities and supporting outreach to prospective customers. Candidates should possess Account Management skills, including maintaining existing relationships, tracking orders, and monitoring account activity. Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail and accurate data entry. Ability to read and interpret basic product specifications and work effectively in an industrial or distribution environment. Proficiency with common business software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, order entry or CRM systems). Previous experience in metals, manufacturing, or industrial distribution is beneficial but not required.
