We are currently seeking a highly motivated, experienced Tax Manager (Hybrid) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to lead and manage our tax department, ensuring compliance with state, local, and corporate tax laws and regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing income tax preparations, filing corporate tax returns, and providing tax planning services to High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI). This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, who can effectively manage a team and drive results.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the tax department to ensure compliance with state, local, and corporate tax laws and regulations.
  • Supervise income tax preparations and the filing of corporate tax returns.
  • Provide tax planning services to High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI).
  • Develop tax strategies to optimize tax liabilities and ensure tax efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to prepare and review financial statements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
  • Manage and resolve tax-related issues and disputes.
  • Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to junior staff members.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants as needed.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on tax strategies and compliance to senior management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or EA certification is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of state and local tax, corporate tax returns, income tax, and HNWI.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of tax software and databases.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
