You will own the full planning function at a vertically integrated manufacturing facility, leading a team of four and driving the cross-functional coordination that keeps two production lines moving. This is a high-visibility role with real scope, real authority, and a defined problem to solve from day one.

This US manufacturer designs and produces high-performance LED lighting for some of the most demanding environments in the world, including healthcare, correctional, food processing, and cleanroom facilities. Everything is made in-house at their Kenosha, WI facility, fully onsite and fully integrated, from raw sheet metal all the way through finished product.

Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Planning Manager Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of four production planners across two lighting brands, setting clear expectations, evaluating performance, and holding the team accountable
• Own master scheduling across all production departments including fabrication, paint, assembly, and SMT operations to ensure on-time delivery and balanced capacity
• Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, customer service, and purchasing to resolve scheduling conflicts, align on commitments, and communicate changes in real time
• Analyze production data and inventory levels to identify capacity constraints, reduce excess inventory, and continuously improve planning processes
• Drive ERP accuracy and efficiency, including recommending system enhancements and documenting materials management procedures in preparation for a future ERP transition

Schedule: Monday through Thursday, day shift

Salary: $100,000 - $130,000

Planning Manager Qualifications:

• 5 or more years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment; high mix, low volume industry experience strongly preferred
• Proven experience leading and developing a planning or materials management team, including direct performance management
• Advanced Excel skills required, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data-driven reporting
• ERP system experience; Epicor experience preferred but not required
• Bachelor's degree required (field of study flexible)
