Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with the Department of Corrections to ensure seamless access to treatment for patients, while properly addressing housing and discharge plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Coordinate patient care with various institutional programs, leading group therapy sessions and mental health workshops tailored to the needs of specific units.

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and crisis interventions, assessing patient needs and creating tailored treatment plans based on individual assessments.

• Document all patient interactions and treatment sessions accurately and comprehensively, engaging in clinical supervision with a Clinical Supervisor at least once per week for ongoing professional development.

• Participate actively in case conferences, providing insights and recommendations based on your clinical expertise during treatment planning discussions.

• Supervise social work interns or student volunteers during their field placements as assigned, guiding their professional development and integration into the team.

• Complete required statistical reports and documentation to enhance our understanding of treatment outcomes and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population primarily includes individuals experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues, particularly adolescents and young adults. As an LCSW at NewBetterYou, you will contribute to the rehabilitation of patients and assist them in navigating the challenges of recovery through compassionate and effective therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California is mandatory, with eligibility for licensure being insufficient.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $80,000 to $122,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
