An opportunity is available for an experienced Respiratory Therapist with a strong background as a Registered Respiratory Therapist to contribute to high-level patient care within a Level 4 NICU, specializing in the care of cardiac transplant patients. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Experience working in a Level 4 NICU preferred
• Proven ability to manage complex respiratory needs, especially in neonatal or pediatric settings
• Familiarity with care of cardiac transplant patients highly valued
• Current BLS and NRP certifications; PALS is a plus
• Exceptional communication skills and collaborative approach with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to critically ill neonates, including those with complex cardiac needs and post-transplant recovery
• Monitor, evaluate, and adjust ventilatory support in accordance with evidence-based protocols and individualized patient needs
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other specialists to develop and implement personalized care plans
• Educate families regarding respiratory therapies, equipment, and ongoing care requirements
• Participate in emergency response situations as required to provide rapid, expert respiratory intervention
• Maintain meticulous patient records and ensure timely, accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
