Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and deliver personalized treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.

• Provide therapeutic counseling services to individuals, couples, and families facing a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and HIPAA-compliant documentation through our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure the confidentiality and safety of client information.

• Collaborate with colleagues, medical professionals, and external resources when necessary to enhance client care and support.

• Engage in clinical supervision and professional development programs to continually advance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

• Uphold ethical, culturally sensitive practices and evidence-based methodologies to ensure the highest quality of care for your clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, ranging from children to adults, including individuals struggling with mental health disorders, couples looking to improve their relationships, and families navigating complex life situations. Your therapeutic skills will directly contribute to fostering resilience and facilitating healing within the community.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of New Jersey.

• A master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience is preferred.

• Proficient understanding of various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.

• Excellent communication skills with a strong client-centered approach to therapy.

• Familiarity with EHR platforms and telehealth delivery is a plus.

• Fluency in a second language is a plus, though not required.
