Work Environment\n

This role will be entirely remote, leveraging telehealth technology to reach clients wherever they are. You will have the flexibility to design your own schedule while working from the comfort of your home. The use of an electronic health record system will be crucial, as you will document your assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and facilitate seamless communication with clients and care teams.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments to accurately diagnose clients’ emotional, behavioral, and psychological conditions.

• Develop tailored treatment modalities based on individual client needs, objectives, and clinical diagnoses, including Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs) such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.

• Deliver therapeutic counseling through various formats, including individual sessions, couple’s therapy, and family dynamics, with a focus on establishing trust and rapport.

• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions to facilitate clients' self-discovery, behavioral modification, and positive cognitive restructuring.
\n
• Work collaboratively with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a well-rounded approach to client care.

• Maintain meticulous records of client encounters, treatment plans, and outcomes, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and confidentiality.

• Engage in ongoing training and professional development activities, including workshops and conferences, to stay current with evolving best practices in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will encompass a diverse range of clients, including adults and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will be instrumental in developing a supportive therapeutic environment that reduces stigma and encourages clients to engage fully in their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A valid California state license or certification as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of two years of practical experience in providing mental health therapy or counseling services.

• Comprehensive knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and family systems theory.

• Strong capacity for empathetic listening coupled with excellent interpersonal skills to build effective client relationships.

• The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment, using technology efficiently for client interaction and documentation.

• Annual salary between $80,000 and $104,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.
