Administrative Assistant - Risk Management

Overview Administrative Assistant - Risk Management located in Kansas City, MO. Supports one or more managers or functions with routine, advanced and technical correspondence and information gathering for routine and non-routine inquiries or reports. Responsibilities Provide routine administrative support to one or more managers or functions (e.g., calendar management, meeting planning, travel arrangements, expense reports, filing). Process and distribute incoming mail, maintain records and filing systems, and assist with scheduling and logistics for appointments and meetings. Handle routine communications (mail, email, phone, fax) timely and respond to requests not requiring supervisor attention. Provide switchboard relief and support to other functions to meet business and staffing needs. Demonstrate a professional attitude, manage priorities, and allocate time/resources to improve efficiency. Share subject matter expertise and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve team goals. Maintain discretion and integrity with confidential information. Prepare internal and external correspondence, presentations, and reports; assemble materials that conform to best-practice standards. Coordinate with internal customers on meeting logistics, materials, and travel plans; prepare reports as needed. Utilize systems (e.g., Cosential, Image and Workflow, internal portal) to obtain information and support productivity. Respond to stakeholder requests with limited information and gather information for non-routine or complex tasks. Identify opportunities to improve and streamline administrative processes; support service quality and client commitments. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED (Required); Associate’s degree in office administration or related field (Preferred); equivalent relevant experience considered. Experience: 5+ years of administrative support experience (Required). Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong written and verbal communication; ability to deliver clear presentations. Organizational skills with attention to detail; intermediate proficiency in MS Office. Ability to learn and use multiple software/tools to meet business needs (e.g., internal systems). Problem-solving ability and capacity to handle complex tasks with knowledge of administrative, office and general accounting procedures.
