Paralegal

CMB Regional Centers is looking for a Paralegal to support the General Counsel and legal team in a regulated environment.The Paralegal will assist with any litigation as well as provide support for financial transactions. This is a full-time role with dedicated hours Monday Friday from 8am-5pm, with the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule after the first 90 days. Essential Job Functions Maintain well-organizedlitigation matter files and keep litigation calendars currentRun the eDiscovery workflowSupport loan closing end-to-endDraft/compile and manage closing documentation under attorney direction.Prepare and maintain electronic closing bindersDraft client facing communications for attorney reviewProofread documents with meticulous consideration and keen eye for spelling, grammatical, and formatting errors. Conduct legal research to support corporate actions and decisions. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge, skill, and ability to correctly use and apply legal terminology Demonstrated capability torun eDiscovery workflowswithappropriate documentationrigor Experience supportingfinancial closingsand comfort coordinating multi-party deal processes. Exemplary writingand proofreadingskills with meticulous attention to detail. Ability tocollaborateand communicate(both written andverbal) effectivelyand professionally. Excellent organizational and time management skills Basicproficiencyusing Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Education and Experience Bachelors degree in paralegal studies,legalstudies, or a relatedfield Three (3) yearspreviouswork experienceas a paralegal orsimilar rolerequired. Proven experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required.
