Key Responsibilities\n

As our LCSW, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to understand patients' mental health needs, followed by the development of individualized treatment plans that align with best practices.

• Utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), ensuring the treatment approach is tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.

• Maintaining accurate clinical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations and other applicable standards. This also includes documenting sessions, treatment outcomes, and progress notes efficiently and effectively.

• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and other social workers, to coordinate care plans and enhance patient outcomes.

• Participating in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to discuss treatment approaches, address challenges, and share knowledge amongst colleagues.

• Providing education and resources to patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available support services within the community.

• Staying current with the latest research and advancements within the field to continuously improve clinical practice and patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily be serving patients within our hospice program, a sensitive setting where emotional resilience and mental health support are paramount. These patients may be experiencing grief, anxiety, depression, or existential distress related to terminal illness. Your role is crucial in helping them cope with their circumstances and providing family support during this emotionally charged time.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid state license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in providing psychotherapy, particularly in settings involving acute mental health challenges.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 per year, reflecting the importance of your skills and dedication.
