Job Description: The Payroll Coordinator manages employee compensation, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. Responsibilities include maintaining payroll records and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Responsibilities: Ensure accurate and timely processing of weekly employee payroll Verify and reconcile payroll data to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and provide exceptional customer service Coordinates with HR to maintain employee records related to payroll, including new hire paperwork, status changes, and termination documentation Prepare payroll reports for management and finance department Stay up to date on payroll regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and recommend process improvements Review and Audit year end W2’s Monthly payroll liability reconciliations Backup and support other roles as needed Desired Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of payroll processing and tax laws Ability to accurately enter and maintain employee data in payroll systems Strong analytical skills to reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies Excellent communication skills to explain payroll-related issues to employees Familiarity with HRIS and payroll-related software Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive employee information Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of payroll processing Flexibility to adapt to changing regulations and policies related to payroll Requirements: Payroll processing & time keeping experience Familiarity with Excel and other Microsoft Application Petersen is proud to be an Equal Opportunity, Afficiative Action Employer.
