CNC Machinist - Aerospace & Defense

$30-$40/hr | Full Benefits | Climate-Controlled Facility

Join a growing aerospace manufacturing team producing high-precision components for the aerospace and defense industry.

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with strong setup experience on complex multi-axis equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes, mill-turns, Swiss machines, and 5-axis mills

• Perform complete machine setups including tooling, offsets, and program verification

• Edit G-Code and M-Code at the machine

• Machine high-tolerance aerospace and defense components

• Troubleshoot tooling, programming, and machining issues

• Collaborate with engineering and programming teams to improve processes

Qualifications

• CNC setup experience (not just machine operation)

• Experience with twin spindle, twin turret, mill-turn, or Swiss machines

• Ability to read blueprints and make program edits at the control

• Experience with Okuma, DMG Mori, Doosan, Eurotech, Matsuura, or similar equipment preferred

• Aerospace, defense, or other precision machining experience preferred

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
