CNC Machinists

MNC CNC Machinist Position The CNC Machinist contributes to the production of medical devices by operating multi‑axis CNC machines and managing tasks across multiple machines. Key Responsibilities Operate multiple CNC machines simultaneously, including lathes, mills, and plunge machines. Monitor machine performance to ensure proper program execution. Complete shop work orders, inspection documentation, and daily maintenance sheets. Create offsets and adjustments to machines under moderate supervision. Advocate for health and safety of self, co‑workers, customers, and the community. Support quality and compliance by following Quality Management System procedures, work instructions, and forms. Complete all required training. Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred). Lean Manufacturing experience (Preferred). Experience in medical device manufacturing (Preferred). At least 1 year operating machining equipment in a manufacturing environment (Preferred). Independent operation of CNC mills or lathes (Required). Proficiency with measuring tools such as calipers, height gauges, and indicators (Required). Reading basic blueprints (Required). Licenses & Certifications Machining trade school education (Preferred). Skills & Knowledge Problem solving. Machine set‑up. Visual quality assurance. GD&T. Blueprint reading. Information processing. Quality inspection and metrology tools. Accuracy and attention to detail. Handwriting (basic). Data entry. Mathematical ability. Physical Demands Remain stationary: frequently. Move around building: occasionally. Move equipment: occasionally. Position oneself under/around/over equipment: occasionally. Communicate and exchange information with others: constantly.
