Massachusetts, Massachusetts, United States 6 Points Sci-Tech Academy About the Role We are seeking an innovative and creative individual to join our camp as a 3D Printing & 3D Modeling Counselor . In this role, you will inspire campers to explore the exciting world of design and technology, teaching them how to create digital models and bring them to life using 3D printers. This is a fantastic opportunity to foster creativity and technical skills in a fun, hands‑on environment. Key Responsibilities Lead workshops on the fundamentals of 3D modeling using software such as TinkerCAD, Blender, or Fusion 360. Teach campers how to design, troubleshoot, and prepare files for 3D printing. Operate and maintain 3D printers, ensuring a safe and effective printing process. Guide campers in creating their own 3D projects, from concept to finished product. Incorporate design‑thinking principles and problem‑solving exercises into lessons. Foster creativity and teamwork through group challenges and collaborative projects. Showcase camper projects during camp events or exhibitions. Work with other counselors to integrate 3D printing into broader STEM and art activities. Qualifications Knowledge of 3D modeling software (e.g., TinkerCAD, Blender, Fusion 360) and 3D printing technologies. Experience in teaching or mentoring youth in technology or design is a plus. Passion for innovation, creativity, and working with young learners. Strong organizational and communication skills.
