Job Description
The Parts Shipping & Receiving role is essential for managing the flow of parts and materials within the company, ensuring timely and accurate shipping and receiving operations. The role involves operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks and requires occasional local travel.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate shipping schedules and ensure timely dispatch of parts
- Inspect received goods for accuracy and quality
- Replenish stock to maintain inventory levels
- Prepare and maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation
- Properly package items to meet shipping standards
- Adhere to safety protocols during all shipping and receiving activities
- Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing parts
- Provide logistics support, including the use of forklifts and pallet jacks
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in shipping and receiving functions
- Familiarity with inventory management systems
- Certified forklift operation skills
- Experience with shipping software and packaging techniques
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance mindset
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Effective communication skills
