Business Operations Manager, Marketing & CommunicationsThe Business Operations Manager, Marketing & Communications, ensures the department has the systems, processes, and discipline it needs to run reliably and scale. This role translates strategic priorities into sustainable operational processes by overseeing budgeting, financial reporting, contracts, procurement, sponsorships, vendor management, technology administration, and department-wide operating standards.Acting as a trusted partner to Marketing & Communications leadership, the Manager, Business Operations provides transparency, accountability, and operational discipline that enable the team to focus on strategic planning, brand management, communications, and campaign execution.The position does not own marketing strategy, creative development, or channel execution. Instead, it ensures the department is operationally sound, financially responsible, goal oriented and positioned to scale.This is a remote position. Applicants must reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Colorado, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.RequirementsEssential FunctionsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.5-8 years of experience in business operations, finance, procurement, project management, marketing operations, or related functions.Experience managing departmental budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.Experience developing operational processes, governance frameworks, and reporting structures.Demonstrated success working across multiple stakeholders in a matrixed environment.Strong organizational, analytical, and process-design skills.Comfort building operational systems and infrastructure from the ground up.About UsNemours Children's Health is an internationally recognized pediatric health system serving more than 1.7 million patient encounters each year.
