Generally, a "U.S. Person" is a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or an individual who has been granted refugee or asylum status.This position will be full-time from January 2027 - August 2027.PRIMARY FUNCTION:Under general direction, participate in and/or lead support projects related to Safety, Continuous Improvement, Lean, and 80/20 across a variety of functions in our Machine Shop and Foundry facilities.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Participate in cross-functional project teams.Support continuous improvement and Lean events.Develop standard work instructions specific to machines or work processes.Work in a team environment to implement manufacturing improvement projects.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Technology.Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.Knowledgeable with 3D CAD software.Minimum GPA of 3.0 in Major preferred.OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:Interest in a career path in the industrial manufacturing industry.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.Strong written and verbal communication skillsCOMPUTER SKILLS:Proficient with Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and Outlook.WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:Ability to move within office and manufacturing complex, write by hand and keyboard, and perform general office functions.Visual acuity needed for close detail work and computer use.General manufacturing, warehouse and office environment.Are you ready to join a different kind of company where our people, our culture, and our commitments are centered around providing trusted solutions that improve lives around the world?IDEX is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
