Human Resources Manager

HR Manager Role in a Growing Manufacturing Company We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations and partner closely with leadership in a growing manufacturing organization that designs and manufactures products used by fire, EMS, and first responders across the U.S. and globally. This role reports directly to the President and plays a key part in ensuring HR supports both day-to-day operational needs and ongoing organizational growth. You will lead a hands‑on HR function while also contributing to people strategy, culture, and employee experience. What You’ll Do Lead the full HR function, including talent acquisition, employee relations, payroll, benefits, and compliance Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees across the organization Supervise and develop the HR Generalist, providing direction and support across day‑to‑day HR operations and ensuring consistent execution of core HR processes Drive recruiting, onboarding, and retention strategies Manage employee relations, investigations, and performance management processes Oversee compensation planning, market reviews, and bonus/profit‑sharing administration Administer benefits programs and manage 401(k) vendor relationships Ensure payroll accuracy and HRIS integrity (bi‑weekly payroll cycle) Support compliance with EEO, OSHA, and all applicable employment laws Partner with leadership on training, development, and coaching initiatives What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field 8+ years of progressive HR experience 5+ years of experience leading an HR team or function Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employee relations, and core HR operations Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments strongly preferred Compensation and Benefits: H O Bostrom offers a competitive compensation package, including base pay and bonus opportunities, along with comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
