Make a difference in the lives of students while working in a supportive and engaging school environment as a speech-language pathologist. Full-time, contract opportunities are available for three SLPs to cover leave of absence assignments in the San Juan Capistrano area. Each SLP will be assigned to a different school—preschool, elementary, or middle school—serving approximately 55 students across a diverse and welcoming community.

These positions begin between September and ASAP starts, with placements extending through mid-December or as late as the end of the academic year. There is a strong likelihood of continued opportunities beyond these dates due to ongoing needs.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active California SLP licensure
• Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads and IEP documentation
• Effective communication and collaboration with teachers, support staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain thorough records
• Contribute to IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams to support student progress
• Adapt interventions for a school-based setting in line with established goals
• Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding speech and language development
