Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs to design specialized therapy strategies aimed at achieving their functional objectives
• Implement Evidence-Based Practices: Employ proven therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living functions
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide integrated, comprehensive care
• Guide Patients and Families: Teach patients and their caregivers effective therapy techniques to support continued progress outside of therapy settings
• Document and Review Progress: Keep detailed records of clinical outcomes, adjusting treatment strategies to ensure optimal progress

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
• Ongoing education and advanced certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must
