Seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for a rewarding contract opportunity in a vibrant educational setting near Oak Creek, WI. This role offers a chance to make a real impact on students’ lives while working within a supportive school community.

This position provides 37.5 hours per week, split between two elementary schools. In addition to working directly with students, you’ll supervise an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) who delivers services at a third elementary school. The combined caseload encompasses 62 students, with the OTA covering this group approximately 2 to 2.5 days a week. Contract renewal may be possible for the right fit, ensuring stability and continuity for students under your care. Compensation for this role starts at $43 per hour and is commensurate with experience.

What we’re looking for:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with current Wisconsin credentials
• Previous school-based or pediatric OT experience preferred
• Strong skills in assessment, direct therapy, and documentation
• Ability to supervise and collaborate effectively with an OTA
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Adaptable, compassionate, and committed to student success

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to elementary students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff for integrated care
• Supervise and mentor an OTA, ensuring high-quality student support
• Assess student needs; develop and monitor individualized therapy plans
• Maintain thorough, timely paperwork and progress updates
• Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
