1st and 2nd shift Electroplater

Job Description

Shift and Schedule:

1st shift: 5:30am-2:00pm

2nd shift: 1:30pm-10:00pm

Pay: $16.00/hour(Up to $18/hour if hired by the company)

Role and Responsibilities

Electroplating Operator takes responsibility for and run all aspects of an electroplating production line. Must be able to accurately follow written procedures, adjust bath chemistry, and be able to inspect raw and finished product using a variety of inspection methods and equipment.

1. Set, start, and shutdown nickel plating line
2. Responsible to work with chemical laboratory to maintain solution parameters
3. Responsible for preventative maintenance activities on the production line
4. Work to achieve scheduling priorities on the line
5. Work to ensure safe practices and company policies and procedures are being followed
6. Work closely with production supervisors to coordinate and schedule tasks/projects
7. Work closely with support supervisors to coordinate and schedule tasks/projects
8. Work to ensure ongoing success of company housekeeping and organization objectives
9. Read and accurately interpret shop paper, provide feedback on issues and changes
10. Perform other assigned duties to achieve the goals of the department and company
