Evaluations, ARDs & SLPA Supervision

No Therapy Caseload

2026-2027 School YearPay starting at $60/hour, negotiable based on experience

Surely Speech & Language Services is seeking a certified Speech-Language Pathologist to support primary and elementary campuses through speech-language evaluations, ARD facilitation, and supervision of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).

This position is ideal for an SLP who enjoys diagnostics, collaboration with school teams, and mentoring clinicians. There are no direct therapy responsibilities associated with this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

SLPA Supervision

• Supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in accordance with Texas licensure requirements
• Assign and monitor student caseloads and therapy plans
• Conduct required observations and supervision meetings
• Review documentation and provide clinical guidance
• Support the SLPA's professional growth and development

Speech-Language Evaluations

• Conduct speech-language evaluations for students at primary and elementary campuses
• Interpret assessment results and prepare written reports
• Participate in eligibility determination and multidisciplinary collaboration
• Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal requirements

ARD Facilitation

• Facilitate ARD meetings and present evaluation findings
• Collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
• Complete required documentation and maintain compliance timelines

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Texas SLP License
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred
• School-based experience preferred but not required
• Experience conducting speech-language evaluations is a plus!
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
