Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Texas is required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• Prior school-based SLP experience strongly preferred.
• Experience supervising a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
• Skilled in completing thorough speech-language evaluations.
• Comfortable leading and facilitating ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management abilities.

What You’ll Do:

• Supervise and mentor a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to ensure quality standards in service delivery.
• Administer comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students aged from primary through elementary levels.
• Facilitate ARD meetings, collaborating with educators and families to develop effective plans for students’ needs.
• Focus on evaluation and compliance—therapy sessions are not required in this position.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation in accordance with district protocols.
