Financial Systems Analyst

We are looking for a Financial Systems Analyst to support and strengthen finance technology operations for a hospitality organization based in SLC, Utah. This position focuses on improving the reliability, usability, and performance of systems that support accounting, reporting, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate brings a blend of financial process knowledge, technical problem-solving ability, and clear communication skills to work effectively with both business and technical teams.Responsibilities:• Design and maintain finance-related systems that support accounting workflows, reporting needs, and operational analysis.• Assess business requirements and translate them into practical system solutions that improve how financial data is captured, organized, and used.• Work closely with Finance, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify inefficiencies and recommend enhancements that streamline daily processes.• Configure and optimize financial applications to meet organizational goals, reporting standards, and compliance expectations.• Prepare and update clear system documentation, including process maps, reporting definitions, and end-user guidance materials.• Build and refine reports, dashboards, and visual summaries that help leaders make informed business decisions.• Investigate system issues, resolve defects, and support stable day-to-day performance across financial platforms.• Contribute to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities by helping ensure system accuracy and dependable financial data.• Coordinate testing efforts, support user acceptance activities, and deliver training for new functionality, upgrades, or integrations.• Administer user access, monitor system performance, and assist with projects involving financial system enhancements or connected platforms.
