About the Role

The Company is seeking an Interim CFO to lead its financial operations during a critical transition period. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all accounting, reporting, and financial activities, including managing the monthly close, cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting. This hands-on and strategic role requires ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls, working closely with the executive team on financial strategy, and leading a small accounting and finance team. The Interim CFO will also be tasked with identifying process improvements, strengthening financial systems, and coordinating with external auditors, banks, and vendors. Applicants for the Interim CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA or MBA preferred. A minimum of 7-10 years' progressive finance and accounting experience, including leadership roles, is required, along with a proven track record in interim, turnaround, or transitional leadership. The role demands a deep knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and cash flow management, as well as experience with financial and accounting ERP systems. Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to thrive in a dynamic, hands-on role with limited supervision.
