Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, which allows counselors to work from the comfort of their own space while still contributing meaningfully to our outpatient office. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments for clients to identify their specific concerns and collaboratively develop tailored treatment plans.

• Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Trauma-Informed Care, tailored to each client’s individual needs.

• Work in collaboration with other team members, including psychiatrists and mental health professionals, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Provide crisis intervention and appropriate support during critical moments to ensure clients' safety and stabilization.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in accordance with ethical and legal standards, including compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Participate in regular professional development sessions to enhance skills and knowledge, staying informed about the latest trends and best practices in mental health counseling.

• Contribute to program development initiatives aimed at improving service delivery and client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients we serve face a spectrum of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and adjustment disorders. As a counselor, you will play a pivotal role in helping these individuals navigate their emotional challenges, providing strategies and support to foster resilience and positive change. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT in New York State.

• Demonstrated ability to provide effective individual, couples, and family therapy in a goal-oriented framework.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients of diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of experience in a clinical setting providing mental health counseling, though new graduates with relevant internships are also encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits\n
