Energy, Environment & Natural Resources Associate (3 to 5 Years) Our client, a nationally recognized Am Law 200 law firm with approximately 500 attorneys across the United States, is seeking an Energy, Environment & Natural Resources Associate to join its growing Chicago office. This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney looking to deepen their energy regulatory practice while working alongside highly respected practitioners on sophisticated matters involving utilities, renewable energy, and state regulatory agencies. The Opportunity As a member of the firm's Energy, Environment & Natural Resources Practice Group, you will represent clients on a wide variety of complex regulatory matters, including: Traditional and non-traditional utility rate cases State regulatory investigations Administrative rulemaking proceedings Retail energy approvals and compliance Experience with any of the following is highly desirable: Renewable energy projects Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) Community solar development and contracting Retail energy supply agreements This role offers meaningful client interaction, hands‑on responsibility, and the opportunity to work on matters shaping the future of the energy industry.
