Job Details Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Nursing Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN) Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours Duration: 13 weeks Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010 Start Date: October 5, 2026 Location: Indianapolis, IN 46237 Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license At least 2 years of ICU nursing experience ACLS and BLS certifications required Strong assessment skills and experience caring for septic patients Experience with mechanically ventilated patients and hemodynamic monitoring devices Comfortable floating to patient care areas when the home unit has low census Preferred: CRRT experience and familiarity with Epic electronic health record (EHR) Team-oriented, flexible, empathetic, and positive attitude Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care in a 30-bed adult ICU Care for patients with sepsis, respiratory failure, substance use disorders, endocrine disorders, and psychiatric conditions Deliver care in a high-acuity setting with common nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3 Monitor and support mechanically ventilated patients and those with advanced hemodynamic devices Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, efficient patient outcomes Participate in orientation, including unit orientation and Epic training if needed Adapt to changing patient needs and support other patient care areas as assigned Location This travel nursing job is located in southeast Indianapolis, IN 46237, with convenient access to local dining, shopping, and major roadways.
