Material HandlerLocation: Archdale, NC 27263 Pay rate: $16.00 - $17.00/hr Work schedule: Full-Time | 1st Shift, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday.OverviewThe Material Handler (Warehouse Clerk) performs a variety of structured duties involving the handling, storing, picking, and staging of warehouse materials to support active production areas, shipping, and receiving. This position utilizes forklifts, pallet jacks, and other industrial material-handling equipment to transport components safely throughout the facility. Additionally, the role relies on computer skills to execute inventory transactions within SAP and manage email-driven material requests.Job SpecificationsKey ResponsibilitiesMaterial Picking & Stocking: Pull, stock, and allocate various manufacturing materials. Pre-stage and pull specific jobs in advance to ensure materials are fully ready for the assembly teams.Inventory & Record Keeping: Maintain precise records, accurate part counts, and defined physical storage locations of inventory parts. Perform basic material inspections as needed.Systems & Data Entry: Utilize a laptop to execute standard material transactions within SAP and respond professionally to internal email requests.Equipment Operation: Safely operate material-handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and industrial scales. Obtain an internal certification to drive forklifts to transport and store materials as required.Facility Maintenance & Organization: Keep designated warehouse zones clean, organized, and free of hazards.
